London Beauty Haul Part 2

Last week I blogged about some of my most recent beauty purchases in the London Beauty Haul Part 1 all dedicated to makeup and haircare products, now it's time for the second part of the haul which regards skincare and bodycare products, and as you can see from the pictures above, I got a bit too excited when in London and purchased a lot of things I didn't plan to buy.

La scorsa settimana ho scritto dei miei acquisti più recenti nel post London Beauty Haul Part 1 tutto dedicato ai prodotti di makeup e per capelli, ora è tempo della seconda parte del haul che riguarderà prodotti di skincare e per il corpo, e come potete vedere dalle fotografie qui sopra, mi sono un po' lasciata trascinare dall'entusiasmo a Londra e ho comprato un bel po' di cose non in programma.

Something I'm pretty excited about is the Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm (£14,50) - that costed me a trip into the beautiful John Lewis on Oxford Street, that is probably the most inexpensive but very luxurious cleansing balm on the market nowadays. This features sweet almonds oil, echium seed oil and mangoseed extract, being so hydrating and pretty oily just as I love my cleansing balm to be. It reminds me a lot to the Emma Hardie offering but in a tube form which makes the whole thing more pratical, a bit less buttery and with a completely different scent from the moringa one which I can't actually describe if not as a very mature grown up scent I'm just not sure if I like it yet. This cleansing balm though is a great product and as I'm trying it for a few weeks now, I can definitely suggest it already if you'd like to try an affordable cleansing balm offering.

Qualcosa di cui sono molto entusiasta è il Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm (£14,50) - che tra l'altro mi ha portato a fare una visitina dentro il bellissimo John Lewis di Oxford Street, che è probabilmente uno dei cleansing balm meno costosi ma non per questo meno lussuoso di altri. Contiene olio di mandorle dolci, olio di semi di echium ed estratto di semi di mango, ed è veramente idratante e piuttosto oleoso proprio come mi piace che i cleansing balm siano. Mi ricorda molto il famoso detergente Emma Hardie ma in tubetto che rende il tutto più pratico, meno burroso e con un profumo completamente diverso da quello alla moringa che non so bene descrivere se non come molto maturo e adulto, e che non so ancora se sia di mio gusto. Però questo cleansing balm è un fantastico prodotto e dato che lo sto provando da qualche settimana, posso già consigliarlo se cercate un prodotto del genere sul lato economico.

In the Boots skincare department I went a little bit crazy - they had a huge 3 for 2, and you know how these things go... I immediately grabbed the Botanics 80% Organic Hydrating Eye Cream (£8,99) and the Botanics 93% Organic Super Balm (£4,99), two products that were in my original to-buy list, as I needed a good hydrating and natural eye cream and, well, the super balm can come useful in a lot of occasions - even though I'm not that impressed with this one so far. Also from that wishlist I got the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Pore Detox Mask (£11,50), a mask for skin on the oilier side to purify and detox deeply into your pores, and the Indeed Labs Set of 3 Sampler Kit (£12,99), as I always wanted to try their Hydraluron serum, and I thought this sample kit could be great to discover some new products as it contains three mini serums from them, though I really regret not buying the Hydraluron full size as I'm really liking it as a hydrating evening serum. Since I couldn't bring home any Una Brennan mask (more than 100ml sadly) I went for their Superfacialist Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil (£14,99), a pre-cleanse deeply nourishing oil with such amazing aromatherapy properties with that intense floral rose scent. This one I'm really enjoying in the morning since it's meant to be great in opening your pores and dissolving impurities before the usual cleanser step.

Nella sezione skincare di Boots mi sono data davvero da fare - avevano un enorme 3 per 2, e sapete come vanno queste cose... Ho da subito afferrato la Botanics 80% Organic Hydrating Eye Cream (£8,99) e il Botanics 93% Organic Super Balm (£4,99), due dei prodotti che erano nella mia originale wishlist, visto che avevo bisogno di un buon contorno occhi idratante e naturale e che, beh, il super balm può tornare utile in moltissime occasioni - anche se per ora non ne sono troppo colpita. Dalla stessa wishlist ho preso la maschera Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Pore Detox Mask (£11,50), pensata per pelli sul lato grasso per purificare a fondo tutti i pori, e il Indeed Labs Set of 3 Sampler Kit (£12,99), poiché ho sempre voluto provare il loro siero Hydraluron e ho pensato che questo set di sample sarebbe tornato utile per scoprire anche altri prodotti dalla stessa linea visto che ne contiene ben tre, però già rimpiango di non aver acquistato la fullsize di Hydraluron perchè lo sto già amando come siero idratante la sera. Visto che non mi è stato possibile acquistare nessuna maschera Una Brennan (tutte in packaging da più di 100ml sfortunatamente) ho presto il loro Superfacialist Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil (£14,99), un olio pre-detersione profondamente nutriente con proprietà aromaterapeutiche grazie a quell'intensissimo profumo di rosa. Mi sta piacendo molto al mattino dato che è pensato per aiutare nell'aprire i pori e dissolvere le impurità prima del detergente usuale.

As for bodycare they had the 3 for 2 as well and I couldn't resist in front of some Soap and Glory goodies, so I got their famous Soap and Glory Hand Food (£5) as I'm pretty into hand creams at the moment, especially to be applied in the evening before bed - this has a very sweet but sofisticated scent as well, and their Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Scrub (£8), which has almost the same scent as the hand cream and it's a body scrub with big grains made out of sea salt and sugar with hydrating properties due to the shea butter and peach seed powder. I just wanted to give the Vaseline Spray&Go Body Moisturiser (£4,99) a whirl since I read a lot of good things about it and I've always been a sucker for easy and quick body moisturizing, but I may regret picking the Cocoa Radiant scent as it's a bit overwhelming even for me that I always love super sweet scents.

Per quanto riguarda i prodotti per il corpo, anche qui avevano un 3 per 2 e non ho saputo resistere di fronte ad alcuni prodotti Soap and Glory, così ho preso la loro famosa crema mani Soap and Glory Hand Food (£5) visto che di recente mi sto appassionando al genere di prodotto specialmente se applicato la sera prima di andare a letto - e questa ha anche un profumo molto dolce ma sofisticato alla stesso tempo, e il loro scrub Soap and Glory Flake Away Body Scrub (£8), che ha più o meno lo stesso profumo della crema mani ed è uno scrub corpo a base di sale marino e zucchero con proprietà idratanti grazie al burro di karitè e alla polvere di semi di pesca. Ho voluto anche provare il Vaseline Spray&Go Body Moisturiser (£4,99) dato che ho letto buone cose su di lui e sono sempre stata un'amante dei prodotti corpo idratanti facili e veloci da applicare, ma potrei essermi pentita di aver scelto la versione al profumo Cocoa Radiant perchè è un po' nauseante, e lo dice una che solitamente ama i profumi super dolci!


These complete my London haul and now I can't wait to test all of these products out and report back. I definitely spent a lot of time and money in Boots and beauty shops, but I saved my money for a while just to get some of these products, so now I feel like a spending ban is very appropriate, however I'm not making any promise I can't keep! Questi completano il mio haul londinese e adesso non vedo l'ora di provare tutti questi prodotti e riportare le mie opinioni. Ho decisamente speso moltissimo tempo e denaro da Boots e in negozi di bellezza, ma avevo risparmiato un po' di soldi proprio a questo scopo per regalarmi dei prodotti che da tempo volevo ma non avevo potuto prendere, così ora mi sento come se uno shopping ban sia più che appropriato, ma non farò promesse che non posso mantenere! Avete provato alcuni di questi prodotti? Cosa avete preso con il 3 per 2 di Boots (che ora spedisce anche in Italia!)?
