Top 5 Gone Too Soon Products.

You may already know the Dramatags, so I won't say a lot about them, but since in the italian beauty blogger's world they're pretty famous now, when Drama came out with a contest, I had to take part and try mentioning my ideas about a possible future Dramatag theme; this Dramatag was inspired by one of my ideas, so I just needed to write my version down as soon as possible. The thing is nominating five beauty products you love so much that you simply can't stop using and finishing really fast, so fast that you hate how soon they're gone everytime. I was pretty good in this: my instinct would have nominated only skincare products, but thinking about it I could actually find a pair of makeup products and one body product to be featured too.

Probabilmente già conoscete tutte i Dramatag, quindi non ci spenderò più molte parole, ma quando Drama lanciò il suo contest, ho dovuto partecipare e proporre le mie idee per un possibile futuro Dramatag; questo tag è infatti ispirato da una delle mie idee (!), quindi dovevo necessariamente rispondere al più presto. Bisogna questa volta nominare cinque prodotti che si amano così tanto che non si riesce a smettere di utilizzarli, tanto che finiscono davvero troppo in fretta, così in fretta che si odia con quanta velocità se ne vadano. Sono stata piuttosto brava questa volta: il mio istinto mi avrebbe portato a nominare solo prodotti di skincare, ma pensandoci su sono riuscita a trovare anche un paio di prodotti di makeup e un prodotto per il corpo da mostrarvi.

The first nomination goes to the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water (7£), and you'd already know the deal with this one, is simply the most versatile and multipurpose product ever, a really gentle thermal water to use as a toner or to prep your skin to a cleanser or a face mask, or even to refresh your makeup after a few hours. It seriously has too many uses that is impossible to make it last for a long while. I tend to like it better as a toner and that's its main use when in my hands, but even like that I continuously use a lot of it and finish it really quickly. I always try to make it last, since, though it's not that expensive, it's not exactly cheap too. But I love it so much and I'll continue repurchase it again and again. Second and last skincare product in this post is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir (10,95£), a product I wasn't sure about whether to buy it or not since it's pretty pricy and I didn't know if I would get an use out of it; well, I clearly do. I bought it only two or three weeks ago and half bottle is already gone; I love using it as a second toner morning and night to calm down redness and angry spot-y areas. However this oily minty water is also thought to be sprayed on makeup to refresh it or make it stay longer: I never tried it like that, but I love its effects on bare skin and can't stop using it. I feel a little bad for my wallet so I'm trying to reduce the dose to once a day, but seriously I don't really know if I will resist not using it at night too, it's just so pleasant and effective!

La prima nomina è per la La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water (7£), e ormai ne saprete più di me su di lei, è semplicemente il prodotto più versatile e multiuso di sempre, una delicatissima acqua termale da usare come toner, o per preparare la pelle al cleanser o a una maschera viso, o persino per rinfrescare il makeup dopo qualche ora. Ha seriamente i più molteplici usi ed è quindi impossibile farla durare a lungo. Io tendo ad usarla principalmente solo come tonico, ma anche così continuo ad utilizzarla molto spesso e a finirla troppo in fretta. Cerco sempre di farla durare il più possibile, dato che, anche se non è costosa, non è nemmeno esattamente economica per quello che è. Ma la amo così tanto che continuerò ad acquistarla ancora e ancora. Secondo e ultimo prodotto di skincare per questo post è il Caudalie Beauty Elixir (14,24€), un prodotto di cui non ero convinta se acquistarlo o meno dato che è piuttosto costoso e non sapevo se ne avrei fatto davvero buon uso; be', alla fine chiaramente ne è valsa la pena. L'ho comprato solo due o tre settimane fa e ne ho già usato metà; mi piace come secondo tonico sia per il mattino sia per la sera, per calmare i rossori e le aree affette da brufoletti arrabbiati. Però questa acqua oleosa che profuma di menta è pensata anche per rinfrescare il makeup e farlo durare più a lungo: non l'ho mai provata in quel modo, ma amo i suoi effetti sulla pelle nuda e non riesco a smettere di utilizzarlo. Mi sento un po' in colpa nei confronti del mio portafogli e sto cercando di ridurre la dose a una volta al giorno, ma seriamente non so se sarà possibile rinunciarvici alla sera, è così piacevole ed efficace!

Makeup-wise, the L'Oreal Teleacopic Mascara (5,99£) is a pretty mandatory mention, since this is my third bottle and I still love it so much that I'd like it to last forever; unfortunately after a few time being open it starts getting thicker and drier and at a certain point you just need to open another one. You may know this mascara was discontinued now, but I keep loving it's amazing waterproof and super black lengthening formula, and the lovely spooly which separates the lashes so beautifully. Now I seriously need a replacement, and I'm just a bit intrigued by the now L'Oreal release, the Miss Manga Mascara, I may need to give it a try. The other makeup product I use a lot is the Kiko Full Coverge Concealer (7,50£), a lovely blemish covering ally of which I'm almost over my second jar. It's lasting a long time, yep, but compared to all the other makeup products, this is definitely the second one I finish really quickly every time. I love it because it's good in covering blemish, discoloration, hyperpigmentation, well it's seriously full coverage (as the name suggests) and everyone needs a good full coverage concealer in its life, you know.

Per quanto riguarda il makeup, il L'Oreal Teleacopic Mascara (5,99£) è una menzione obbigatoria, dato che questo è il terzo che apro e ne sono ancora innamorata a tal punto da sperare che duri per sempre; sfortunatamente dopo un po' di tempo inizia ad addensarsi e seccarsi un po' e ad un certo punto si sente il bisogno di aprirne uno nuovo. Saprete certamente che ormai questo mascara è fuori produzione, ma continuo ad amare la sua fantastica formula waterproof e allungante, e il suo applicatore che separa le ciglia magnificamente. Ora ho davvero bisogno di un sostituto, e sono leggermente intrigata dalla nuova proposta L'Oreal, il mascara Miss Manga, che magari proverò. L'altro prodotto di makeup è il Kiko Full Coverge Concealer (7,50€), il mio miglior alleato quando si tratta di coprire le imperfezioni, di cui sono già alla seconda jar. Sta durando abbastanza a lungo, sì, ma se comparato agli altri prodotti di makeup, questo è decisamente il secondo che finisco più in fretta ogni volta. Mi piace perchè appunto è ottimo a coprire imperfezioni e rossori, è davvero a piena coprenza (come suggerisce il nome) e d'altronde tutti necessitano di un correttore full coverage nelle loro vite, no?

Lastly a body product I'm loving lately, the Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel, it is a limited edition Lush christmas product with the most sweet amazing scent you can ever imagine. I love how my bathroom immediately smells like a candy shop and how much the scent stays in the room as well. It's such a pity this is a LE, and I'm seriously trying to make it last as long as I can, but I'm afraid it will leave me very soon (however I'm also excited for the new one to come). I should had bought a good stock this Christmas, now I have to wait the whole year for that incredible scented bubbles, ah.

Infine un prodotto per il corpo che sto amando di recente, il Lush Snow Fairy (Fate Voi) Shower Gel (3,48€), un'edizione limitata natalizia firmata Lush con il più adorabile dei profumi dolci. Amo come il mio bagno immediatamente inizia a profumare come un negozio di caramelle e quanto lo stesso profumo rimanga a lungo nella stanza. E' davvero un peccato che sia una limited edition, e sto cercando di farlo durare il più a lungo possibile, ma ho paura che tra non molto mi lascerà (però sono pure entusiasta del prossimo che aprirò). Avrei dovuto acquistarne una buona scorta questo Natale, ora dovrò aspettare l'intero anno per quelle fantastiche bolle profumate, ah.
