Empties #3

It's been a while since I wrote an empties post, but I'm not the best in finishing products before buying others and forgetting the old ones in the drawer. But in these months I actually finished a bunch of stuffs, which I've accumulated to share with you, talking about them and if I liked them or not, if I would repurchase them, and, above all, which one I was happy to finish, and which one not.

E' passato molto tempo da quando ho scritto l'ultimo post sui prodotti terminati, ma non sono la migliore a finire i prodotti prima di comprarne altri e dedicarmi a quelli nuovi, dimenticandomi quelli vecchi nel cassetto. Ma in questi mesi ho in realtà fino un bel po' di cose, che ho accumulato per mostrarvele, parlarvene e farvi sapere se mi sono piaciute o no, se le riacquisterei e, soprattutto, quali sono felice di aver finalmente terminato, e quali invece no.

Essence PureSkin Purifying Nose Strips - these are not new in my blog, I talked about them a lot and I still enjoy using them once a while; they are great to purify your nose area especially if you "suffer" of blackheads like me. I've already repurchased another pack of these to use in the future, anyway I find I use it a lot less than I was used to; maybe my skin is finally getting better!

Non sono nuove sul mio blog, ne ho parlato parecchio e mi piace ancora utilizzarle ogni tanto; sono ottime per eliminare tutte le schifezze che si hanno sul naso e dintorni, soprattutto se si soffre di punti neri come me. Le ho già riacquistate per usarle in futuro, ma comunque mi sono accorta di utilizzarle molto meno rispetto all'inizio; che la mia pelle sia davvero migliorata?

Catwalk Curls Rock, Curly Hair Conditioner - I've not curly or wavy hair, but I still like using conditioners that are meant to be for curly people, simply because I think they tend to give a lot more volume and a nicest texture to your hair than the straight hair's ones. And you know how much I need a good amount of volume and texture in my plain hair. This Catwalk conditioner was fine, nothing really exciting, and, because of this, I won't repurchase it, even if I enjoyed using it the majority of the times. Maybe for curly hair is really good, but I can't actually say it.

Non ho i capelli né ricci né lontanamente mossi, ma mi piace comunque utilizzare questo genere di balsamo, semplicemente perchè penso (ma può darsi che me lo sia inventato) che i prodotti per capelli ricci o mossi tendano ad enfatizzare il volume e dare una texture migliore rispetto a quelli per capelli lisci. E voi lo sapete di quanto volume e texture hanno bisogno i miei poveri capelli. Questo balsamo Catwalk era ok, niente di molto entusiasmante, e per questo sicuramente non lo riacquisterò, anche se in generale non mi è dispiaciuto utilizzarlo. Magari per capelli ricci o mossi è pure il migliore, ma non saprei proprio dirlo.

Essence Studio Nails Better Than Gel nails Top Sealer (high gloss) - if you follow me for a while, you maybe know I was curious about this top coat and wanted to try it for ages, but I couldn't find it anywhere; well, I finally found it and I liked it a lot: I find my nail polish lasts a lot more with this top coat on top, but let's talk of the shiny and glossy result you have with your mani when you use it: fantastico (love you, Mika)! I love gel-like manicures, and obviously I love this top coat. It isn't actually finished yet but after a few months it tends to dry a bit, and now I can't use it anymore: it's a common problem between gel-like polishes (all I used), and actually I've found this lasted a lot more than the others. However I've already bought another one, can't live without!

Se mi seguite da un po', saprete di certo che ero molto curiosa di provare questo top coat Essence, ma che non riuscivo mai a trovarlo da nessuna parte; be', finalmente l'ho trovato e mi è piaciuto davvero molto: trovo che lo smalto duri molto di più con questo top coat rispetto che con altri, ma soprattutto come non parlare dell'effetto gloss (o gel, che dir si voglia) che dona alla manicure? Fantastico (Mika, I love you)! In realtà non è completamente finito, ma dopo un po' di mesi si è seccato ed ora è inutilizzabile: è una cosa abbastanza comune a tutti gli smalti simil gel che ho provato, e anzi ho trovato che questo durasse un po' di più di altri. Comunque ne ho già acquistato un altro, non posso più vivere senza!

Sephora Head To Toe hydrator - this product was my last year birthday present by Sephora (with their Italian fidelity program): considering my birthday comes in September, I used it for a whole year before finishing it. I can't actually say I liked a lot, it is fine for your face and hands when you haven't anything else with you, but nothing more. It's meant to be applyed literally everywhere but I mainly applied it on my face before makeup or, as I said, on my hands. Never tried on hair as they suggest to (I'm a bit skeptical)... I won't buy again, it if not in a tragic mood.

Questo prodotto è stato il mio regalo di compleanno by Sephora dello scorso anno (ve lo ricordate? Con la carta Sephora Black): considerando che il mio compleanno è in settembre, direi che per finire questo prodotto ci ho messo praticamente un anno esatto. Non posso dire che mi sia piaciuta molto, andava bene per idratare le mani e il viso se proprio non si aveva altro sotto mano, ma niente di più. E' pensata per essere applicata un po' ovunque, da testa a piedi appunto, ma la applicavo principalmente sul viso prima del makup o, come ho detto, sulle mani. Non l'ho mai provata sui capelli come consigliato (chiamatelo scetticismo, ma che vi devo dire)... e decisamente non la riacquisterei se non in situazioni disperate senza altre scelte.

Equilibria Aloe Face Lotion - I'm a bit obsessed with aloe vera recently, that's why I bought an aloe vera face lotion. I think it wasn't bad but even not that great: I used it up without problems, using it in the morning before makeup, but I won't repurchase it because I tried other lotion better then this one.

Sono un po' fissata con l'aloe vera di recente, e questo è il motivo per cui tempo fa ho acquistato una crema viso all'aloe. Non era male, ma nemmeno il massimo: l'ho finita senza problemi e non mi pesava utilizzarla al mattino prima del makeup, ma non la riacquisterò perchè ho provato creme migliori.

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser - I've already mentioned this cleanser once in a full review: I said I liked it a lot, and in fact it was the reason I tried face cleansers different from what I was used to. Now, a few product after, I still think I liked it and it was fine, but if before I would have repurchase it, now I won't. I feel like gel textured cleansers are not my skin perfect match, and I like a lot better cleansing balms or balmy and creamy products in general. Also it feels a lot more chemical than the other ones I tried, and I definitely prefer other choices.

Ho già menzionato questo cleanser in una review completa: dicevo che mi piaceva molto, ed è stata infatti la ragione per cui ho iniziato a provare altri prodotti di questo genere. Ora, un po' di prodotti dopo, penso ancora che non fosse male, ma se prima l'avrei riacquistata, ora non penso. Mi pare che alla mia pelle non piacciano troppo le texture in gel per i prodotti di skincare, e decisamente preferisco dei prodotti cremosi o dei burri. Inoltre mi dà l'impressione di qualcosa di puramente chimico e artificiale (niente in contrario eh, altrimenti non farei quel che faccio, ma generalmente apprezzo se il prodotto sembra più naturale e meno da-laboratorio possibile); sicuramente preferisco altri prodotti.

REN Moisture Protect Comfort-Plus Cleansing Milk (dry) - as I said I like creamy cleanser better than gel ones, and this REN product was just perfect for my daily use, I'm a bit sorry it's gone now, as much that it still keep it on my bath shelf and squeeze it sometimes hoping something could still come out, but now it's unfortunately completely finished. It was good to remove makeup and, at the same time, deeply cleaning the skin, being really comfortable and soft, hydrating at the same time. However I don't know if I will repurchase it, mainly because I tried the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm, and I'm in love.

Come ho detto preferisco di gran lunga i detergenti cremosi rispetto a quelli in gel, e questo prodotto REN era semplicemente perfetto per un uso quotidiano da parte mia; sono un po' dispiaciuta che sia finito, tanto che continuo a tenerlo sullo scaffale e a spremerlo ogni tanto per constatare che sì, è finito per davvero. Era un buon cleanser, delicato e ottimo per rimuovere il makeup, ma allo stesso tempo perfetto per pulire e idratare la pelle. Comunque non so se ne acquisterò la full size, principalmente perchè nel frattempo ho avuto modo di provare l'Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm, e ne sono già innamorata.

Garnier Ultra Dolce blackberry and henna shampoo & conditioner - last two products I want to mention is this hair combo, which is meant for dark hair to enhance its color and own features. I liked them both a lot, used in combo or with other products, and I'm still using the conditioner which I re-bought recently. I feel my brown-reddish hair looks a lot brighter and redder than before, which is a good thing; also the blackberry scent is absolutely delicious.

Ultimi due prodotti che voglio menzionare sono questa combo per i capelli, prodotti pensati per i capelli scuri, per enfatizzare e ravvivare il colore, sottolineandone le caratteristiche grazie all'henné, tirando fuori (almeno sui miei capelli tendenti al rosso) la componente calda e rossa del capello. Mi piacciono entrambi molto, sia usati insieme, sia abbinati ad altri prodotto, e sto tutt'ora utilizzando il balsamo, ricomprato proprio di recente. Inoltre la nota di profumo di more è davvero qualcosa di delizioso.
